5-page illustrated report presenting how prospect-refuge theory and the
hierarchy of needs will be used to define my program from project 2.

was an exercise in the “Rules of Thumb” design. A scenario was given with an
owner who wanted to develop 2 1-bedroom dwellings on the lot. I
was to
use the rules of thumb and the Levittown Building Zoning Ordinance to design
the dwellings, and identify any variances I would need.

a formal zoning review for project 2

I was
to create a model of my project 2 dwelling then demonstrate with the model how
the floor plan could be altered. There was to be at least 3 possible floor
plans for the dwelling.

This assignment
was to use the idea of modular construction as a design idea. I was to create 3
kitchen designs, a single person, family of 4, and an elderly
or ADA compliant
kitchen. Then create models of each and with the assignment 5 model show how
they fit into the building.
