and apply
results to improve processes.
Project 1
was to develop a prototype for a 3-bedroom 1,700 SF dwelling with a service
life of 500
years. We
were also to implement 5 innovative technologies that would improve the
welling. This
was a group
project, the final submission was to be a report, 5 drawings, and a model.
Project 2
was required us to use all the semesters knowledge to develop a residential
design. I was
to design
the dwelling program from Design 3, with modifications and variances developed
throughout
the semester. The submission was to include 5 sheets of drawings, a model of
the site
at 1/40
scale, a model of one dwelling unit at 1/8 scale, and a written report. (Click link for Project 2)
These assignments were used to individually develop the
skilled needed to complete projects 1 & 2.
