Architectural Design III

Assignments 1-7

The purpose of the assignments was to help with the development of skills and knowledge that

could be used on the projects.

Assignment 1: This was a group exercise to build observation skills of buildings with architectural

qualities in everyday life. We went around town and found building that fit a range of profiles we

were given, then took notes and pictures. After which we each picked a different building to give

a presentation on, I choose the building below.

Assignment 2: The main point of this group assignment was to survey the Veterans Memorial Park.

With the notes taken we had to create an authoritative drawing of the existing site. We then

prepared a power point presentation with the results from our survey.

Assignment 3: This assignment was to develop model building skill with different materials. The

control model was to be made of card stock, the other two from some other material.

Assignments 4 & 7: These assignments were all online assignments to gain extra information that

will aid in projects 1 & 2
