Final Design:
For my final design I pick design number 2. This design showed the relationship between a simple truss bridge and an arch bridge. The gears wind up a pulley that the cable wraps up on. The deck is connected to the ground using hinges, allowing for the deck to move up and down.
Transformation:
Using a simple truss bridge I removed a quarter of one end so it wouldn’t be symmetrical.
I then put an arch on the one end to give it support. Later the tower was added to put the function on.
