Pedestrian
Bridge
Objective: The
idea of this project is to explore and examine several different types of
bridges, along with different mechanical systems. The outcome will be a combination
of the two systems in which there is a transformation. The
function of
the bridge is to be able to allow pedestrians to walk across and allow for the
passing of ships to clear a 30 foot wide, 40 foot tall space. The bridge spans
an opening of 190 feet.

Mechanical Systems used in my project
This is a picture of a motor it is
required because my road bed slides. A
force required to pull it back the road bed and push it forward.
It is represented in auto cad was an
orange box.
This is a picture of a Railroad
track. I use two tracks in my system to
keep the wheel in place and it rounds along to move the road bed out of the way
for ships to pass.
