Final design
Philosophy Statement:
In this project we are subjected to design a non-denomination chapel that reflects the methods of controlling light.The ways light react during the times of the day. The light helps to express and give true meaning to the design and architecture of the building. To help express light I decided to use different ways. Some of these were reflective surfaces with the help of curved surface, backlighting, ground lighting. I also wanted the memorial side chapel to have morning light, the meditation side chapel to have daylight and the main sanctuary to have all around light.
