MECHANISMS

Pulley- a simple wheel with a groove in it, which a rope or wire can run in and be able to lift or move an object attached to the end of it.

Gears- A gear is a rotating machine part having cut teeth that mesh with another toothed part in order to transmit torque.

Counter Weight- A weight that is added to a mechanism to counter act the weight on the opposite side.
