Philosophy:

The main function of the main chapel is to capture the sunlight as it rises in the east and set in the west. The placement of the main chapel is to follow the direction of the suns path as it moves throughout the course of the day. The design provides for both morning and afternoon for gatherings to occur. Three in door chapels (main, memorial, and meditation). Theres to path ways from the lobby entrance which encloses a outdoor space which can be filled with occupants as the leave the chapel. The light within the main chapel is mostly kept high with some openigns at the sides. The light is mainly targeted towards the front on the space where the podium will be to keep the eyes of the occupants fouced on the speaker. The idea of the light is show whats important.
