The Meier House
Meta
Idea- The thing that makes
the original Meier house so unique is that it’s so open to the scenery around It,
so I decided to build off that and make it more open than it was before.
Connecting analogy-
I
used abutting and the use of glass to connect my final design and the original
building together. I decided not to change the building in major ways but to
keep it and build off of it. I also used a bridge to connect the old from the
new.
Hierarchy-
What
I chose and shown for my hierarchy is my family room, it’s the in the middle of
the house it is also a two story space encased in glass.
