Preliminaries

I looked into the pulleys and hinges but I said to myself how does this bridge differ from every other bridge besides everyone else will probably do hinges and pulleys its the easiest after all.

First I looked into the slider and gear combination a bit but I thought it was a good idea but it didnt do much, it was way too simple but I did like the gear idea and using an arch bridge. I was looking for something unique and cool to make mine stand out compared to others.

Rational

While looking into ways of making it move, different types of bridges. I have tested different types of bridges with different ways of making it move and failing in some way but succeeding in others. After being corrected by my fellow classmates and my failures in some aspects I have come to my decision. With the help of my friend I have decided to use an arch bridge with gears.
