Final Design

Site Location

Part of the job with designing this building was to find a suitable spot on the site for it to be built. The area I chose to place the building was an adjacent spot to the Great Lawn on campus. After completing my site analysis I chose this spot for a couple of reasons. First it had near by parking making it convenient to the commuter, as well as close proximity to the dorms making it convenient for them as well. The second reason I chose this location is because of the light. This is a big open area giving me full control over the light.
