Narrative: In hopes to help there student population Farmingdale State College has decided to open a chapel. Due to the various faiths on campus the chapel being constructed must be Non-denominational. Though the chapel is not based on any one faith the rooms and how light affects them is still important. Light from above can be seen as light from the heavens no matter who you call your god his light is warm and comforting to his worshippers. The light from the East the mornings warm rays that shine brightly symbolizing a new day and what is to come, this is why the meditation room faces East. In the memorial the light comes from the West as the sun sets on a day gone past, a day to be remembered and not lost.
