Narrative

Farmingdale State College wants to build a non-denominational chapel on campus for the student population. The dean wanted the chapel non-denominational because he felt it would make the college more diverse and create a better atmosphere for all to enjoy. Because the chapel is not specific to one religion, any person of any faith can go in there and relax and take a break from school. The chapel will also allow students to feel more and peace and because of this they will be able to focus and work better. The chapel is illuminated by projected natural sunlight onto the walls and ceiling. This relates to all religions because light is almost always associated with faith and worship.
