Project Statement

The purpose of the project is to create a building that has three chapels that are orientated towards the sun and the different directions of it throughout the day. The chapels couldn’t have ordinary windows and had to use different light capturing methods to bring natural light in to each chapel. I choose my location because there isn’t a building close enough to block the sun rays while also being in between the student life buildings and the educational buildings. I did this so the building would be for both commuters and students living on campus. It’s also located on a main circulation path.
