Bridge Project
Project Statement
The main purpose of this project was to
design a 12' wide pedestrian bridge that will span 190 ft. The bridge needs an
operable opening that can fit an object 40' high by 30' wide. There is water
10' below the ground, and no structure can be built in the water. Members
cannot be more than 1 ft x 1 ft
in size and cannot be longer than 20 ft. The aesthetic look of the bridge is
based purely on the movable function of the bridge.
