& Function
The pedestrian bridge is an exercise of form and function. It allows us to understand the structures
of bridges and how we can add a function to it, to incorporate it into our daily lives. We initiate
this task by creating a strong structure for the bridge. We then select a few gears that we would want to install
into the bridge for movement. The movement/opening of a portion of the bridge is to allow ships of 30’ x 40’
to pass through.
