Philosophy statement

The campus is positioned on a 45 degree angle on the East-West axis. This causes the building to be on a 45 degree angle as well, but the chapels have to be facing directly east, south and west due to the orientation of the sun. This causes the building to have weird shaped rooms, other than just squares.

The building is a formal building and so it would make sense for it be in a formal space. But putting the building inside a space would simply destroy the space. So it should be placed on an outter line of the space to help define the space better.

The building uses fundamental ordering concepts such as: circulation, hierarchy, datum, public/private, and open/close.
