-I then ranked all of the most important rooms and spaces of the home, and categorized them at a level that I could understand when critically designing the extension.

Contextual Analysis

To better my understanding further, I also studied the existing systems that were in place for the smith house and diagramed them out accordingly. This helped me create a design that was cohesive and allowed me to draw inspiration towards the final project.

The Metaphor
