Final Design

How it works; The large gear turns clockwise and is connected through cables to the smaller gear. The smaller gear will be the one turning against the moving roadbed. Similarly to the corkscrew, the gear will pull the bridge in and out.

Animations

I have put together some animations to show the process of the transformation of the original truss design to the final product. I have also included animations that show the bridge opening and closing.
