Contextual Fit

Narrative

The Johnson family has recently moved into the Smith house in order to get away from the city life. They realized that the house needs some improvements to fit some of their needs. The father is a doctor and wants to be able to spend more time with his kids when possible. They have asked for an addition to the house that includes a family room, master bedroom and gym. The family room is the most important as they want it to be a place where the entire family can relax and come together. The father is big fan of soccer so he asks that the designer be inspired by a soccer ball. A deck should also be accessible from the family room. The master bedroom should be located in a more private area as well as the gym. Elements of the original house should be carried on into the addition and should feel fitting, but have a presence to show the importance of it.

A peg connection was used in order to add the new addition

Systems Extruded

The systems extruded into the new addition were mainly structure and heirachy.

Other systems were used such as enclosure, but the main focus was on the first two as stated.
