FORM
& FUNCTION
“First comes thought; then organization
of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you
will observe, is in your imagination.”
Within the history of architecture there are many problems and
obstacles to overcome. I see an architect as an advanced problem solver. Going
from a solid immovable object to a fully functional movable object is a great
feat. The transformation of a form to for fill the function is immensely
tedious and painstaking. The care to great detail and discipline is a
necessity. This can be related to caterpillar being reborn as a butterfly.
During this process, something amazing happens were this once immovable object
is now a transformed moving piece of artwork.
