After analyzing both of the preliminary concepts, the best solution came by combining both

ideas into one. This results in a cantilever bridge that supports the road with steel cables. Instead of having

a symmetrical bridge with two cantilever parts that hold the moving mechanism at the middle, now the

bridge has one big cantilever that holds most of the roadway on one side. On the other side we have a tower

that holds the moving mechanism.
