Text Box: The point of my design was simple yet complex. I wanted to be able to use the natural light at all points of the day. The two strips that ended up on top of my building was for light purposes only. I wanted the light to catch those strips and shot down into different parts of the church. I also offset the building to face more southwest so it could catch as much sun as possible. By doing this the spaces weren’t formed as well so I added to outdoor areas to the church so that this way one can not only pray inside, but pray outside as well. I also kept the “non-important” rooms on the north of the building because natural light is not important to them. Final Design
