Preliminary Designs

I chose to design my project where the red block is located. This places it in close proximity to the main circulation path and also near the dormitories. This location will also allow me to shape the building in such a way to help further define the neighboring spaces.

I found it difficult to incorporate a simple circulation into this project; I instead opted for a radial circulation branching out from a central lobby area.
