RESEARCH
After extensive research I found four very efficient light machines that I incorporated into my project, they are as follows:
Light Tube- catches light through the opening at the top and runs down the tube until it hits the several holes in it washing walls in a very controlled manner
Slotted Roof- Allows light to enter and was a single wall only at a specific point of a day, slightly on the uncontrollable side though as it will vary the amount and location of light pending on the time of day.
Slotted Roof with Catchers- blocks unwanted light from coming in and allows the light that enters to be bounced off a third half-cylinder to wash two walls at once, mostly controllable as light can only go in two directions
Skylight with Bowl- Allows light to pass through the skylight and reflect off the bowl to wash the entire ceiling, highly controllable as the light can only be reflected back out the skylight or onto the ceiling and no where else
