Idea Formation:

The college wants to add a non-denominational to the campus. A spot for the chapel hasn’t been decided yet, but the chapel has to be designed in a space that would use natural light wisely.

Analysis of campus:

I decided to use the original system of the campus, where there was two sides to the central circle. Also most of the buildings now are built only towards one side of the campus or scattered at an angle. I decided to use the most important parts of the chapel and turn it towards the same angle so that it can use the , east, south and west sunlight.

The churches baroque design has a mix of concave and convex surfaces which helps the natural light guide the focus towards the main alter.
